I have installed a lot of these devices now and they look great and work well with my Home Assistant Zigbee set up. The power and voltage monitor functions are working reliably. They do give a sumation of both sockets. Great devices look good and well priced and most importantly come with Australian certification. A must for insurance.
They’re able to be controlled by the Zemismart HomeKit hub but unfortunately they present as a single switch in the Home app. So it’s either all on or all off. If you set one switch to on manually, then the Home app shows that the switch is on. Toggling it in the app turns only that switch off and toggle again to turn the same switch on. Serves my purpose but it should really present as two switches for complete control. Other than that it’s been solid.
We appreciate your feedback on this matter.
Please try this work around:
Please sets up individual scenes in the Zemismart app, they should appear in the Home app as well. This allows him to create a separate scene for each switch, enabling individual control.
Looks like a good product - economical, AU/NZ certified, but the product description doesn't say if each socket has separate sensors for power & energy. A review says they don't, Support says they do. But when I ran it up with Home Assistant/ZHA it configured and switched fine but no separate sensors - just combined. So for me, not fit for purpose and the product returned.
Perhaps other Zigbee hubs may get more out of it - your mileage may vary.
Probably the cheapest zigbee sockets on the market and it tells. They aren't bad and it's great to deploy a bunch of zigbee repeaters en masse, but the switches aren't very sensitive and the power monitoring is on the whole device, not on each plug, which seems strange but not uncommon, the mercator ones are the same but the finish is far nicer.
Neat
