This Cog is for use with the Soma Smart Shades models 2 and 1 and is used with the beaded chain of your blinds. If the Cog has worn out this can be due to you using the metal chain on your blinds instead of using the plastic chain that was provided in the pack.

*NOT SUITABLE FOR Soma Smart Shades 3.

We strongly suggest that you use the plastic chain and you will not experience the cog wearing out.

    At last Cogs in stock

    This is the second time I have had to order replacement cogs about 12 months apart. This time I was informed that the reason the cogs are wearing out is due to the choice I made not to replace the metal Curtin cord with a cheap plastic looking one.
    I had to wait a few months for them to come into stock which was disappointing. I ended up having to contact the supplier and seek their help. I would like to get more but am not really happy with the product and the cost is was too high.
