Great when it works

The Shelly EM was relatively easy to install, and the app is good enough, and simple integration into Home Assistant. Unfortunately, the second sensor port doesn't work. Not sure whether this is due to a bad port on the board, or a bad 50A sensor. The second port would have been nice, but not critical enough to delay my data collection which is why I haven't reached out for an RMA.

Great nifty energy monitoring device

Bought 3 Shelly EMs to monitor five circuits and had them installed by an electrician. These Shelly EMs are easy to commission via the Shelly app once wired up and can be easily integrated into Home Assistant for energy monitoring and other automation. A great versatile product.

Half Working

Had the electrician install the Shelly EM today. Goods news is it powered up, but the bad news is only CH2 seems to be working.

We've tested the current transformers and they seem to be OK, and swapped the transformers to the other channel, so it would seem CH1 is not functioning.

Not sure where we go from here and whether it is fixable, or will need a replacement.

I still need to connect it to my network, and from there consume the data into a new Node Red flow.
