They work, but they don’t work with the setting I was though to believe you had. The life smart app is where I started. Setup and great works. Then added into HomeKit. Easy.
But then I was told that I can turn on “Smart Bulb” mode. Can’t find it. It says it has the ability to change the switch led lights behind the touch button’s. Cannot find it. The instructions also say you can monitor energy. Where? I think with a bit of time to explain these settings it will give you a great platform and niche in this smart device area. Right now. I want some support and don’t know how to get it. Please reply. I’d like some answers.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to explain this, and we’re sorry the available settings were not made clearer.
To clarify, this switch does not currently have a smart bulb or detach/decouple mode.
The RGB indicator colour and backlight settings are managed in the Smart Life app rather than Apple HomeKit. Open the switch in Smart Life and press and hold the device or switch icon to access the additional settings. Depending on the app version, these may appear under the device’s settings menu as “Adjust RGB Backlight” and “Turn On/Off Backlight.”
Energy monitoring is also available through Smart Life under “Electric” or “Electric Stats.” It displays the combined current, power, voltage and energy usage in kWh for all gangs on the wall plate, rather than providing separate readings for each button. These readings are intended as a general reference.
The “Momentary Function” mentioned in the manual is designed for use with a separate compatible smart dimmer module. It is not the same as Smart Bulb mode.
