The Zemismart MTP1 is a retrofit smart blind motor designed to automate compatible roller, zebra, honeycomb and venetian blinds without replacing the complete blind assembly. Matter over Thread connectivity enables responsive, secure control through a compatible smart home ecosystem, while the built-in 6,400 mAh rechargeable battery helps keep installation clean and cable-free between charges.

Smart Control Without a Brand-Specific Gateway

Matter makes it easier to add the motor to supported ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home and Home Assistant. A proprietary Zemismart hub is not required for Matter control; however, a compatible Matter controller and Thread Border Router are required. These functions may be built into an existing smart speaker, display, streaming device or home automation server.

Matter and Thread Requirements

Smart app, automation and voice control require a compatible Matter controller and Thread Border Router. A standard Wi-Fi router alone does not provide Thread connectivity. Confirm that your chosen ecosystem includes both functions before purchase. Remote and manual control do not depend on Matter commissioning.

Blind Compatibility Notice

This product is intended for compatible continuous-loop bead-chain blinds. Before purchase, check the chain type and size, available mounting space, required operating force, blind condition and total load. Compatibility is not determined by blind style alone. Correct alignment and chain tension are essential for reliable operation and to avoid damage.

Item not working as expected

I received 2 of the matter smart roller blind motors and i am only able to connect one to my google smart hub. Have sent an email to supplier and have had no response. Not overly impressed with the service.

Thank you for your feedback and we sincerely apologize for the experience and delay in response from the supplier.

The Matter Smart Roller Shade Driver is a Matter over Thread device, which means it requires a compatible Thread border router such as a Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen), Nest Hub Max, or other Matter-compatible Thread border router to allow stable communication between multiple devices.

If one blind motor connects successfully but the second does not, this is commonly related to:

The second motor not fully entering pairing mode
Thread network routing not yet stabilised
Google Home cache/pairing issue
Distance/signal limitations between devices and the Thread Border Router

We recommend trying the following:

Remove the non-working motor from Google Home if partially added
Factory reset the second motor
Bring the motor closer to the Google Nest Hub during pairing
Ensure Bluetooth and local network permissions are enabled on your phone
Allow several minutes after the first device connects for the Thread network to establish properly before adding the second device

The product is designed to support Google Home and Matter ecosystems directly over Thread.

Doesn't connect

I bought this thinking it would connect to google home, which it doesnt' so I bought the M1 Hub to assist with the connection and it doesn't even work with this second device. Waste of time and money

I’m hoping they will be more stable with the matter hub I’ve ordered as well.
But the product itself is top quality. Quick turnaround of process and delivery 👌🏻

Matter Motor

The matter set-up went through like a breeze and I am most impressed with this. The only drawback is that it is a little noisier than my Soma Smart Shades v2 (which are not as good as v3). Also, the motor lets out a high frequency whine when the blinds are raised and emits it till I close the blinds. My son and me can both hear it, but my wife can’t so she thinks we are nuts. We disagree.

This is my second one.. The first one broke before it's time. But it was functional enough for me to buy another of the same. Easy to use.. aeanless integration, think it's better than anything else on the market
