Add reliable smart lighting control to your home with the HomeSYS HSYS-Dimmer-2001 Z-Wave In-Wall Dimmer. Installed behind a compatible wall switch, this compact module lets you switch connected lighting on and off, adjust its brightness and control it through a compatible Z-Wave controller or automation platform.
Designed for Australian and New Zealand Z-Wave networks, the dimmer operates on the 921.42 MHz Z-Wave frequency. It also functions as a powered Z-Wave repeater, helping compatible devices communicate more reliably across your network.

Flexible Lighting Control
The HSYS-Dimmer-2001 can be operated through your Z-Wave controller or with a connected momentary push-button switch. A short press can switch the connected light on or off, while supported Z-Wave controls can be used to adjust the brightness.
Minimum and startup brightness levels can be configured to improve performance with compatible dimmable lamps. Advanced settings also let you select the dimming method, change the dimming curve and adjust the fade duration.

The number of compatible LED lamps or drivers may be limited by their design, power factor and individual power rating. Connected lamps and drivers must be dimmable and compatible with the selected dimming method.
Z-Wave Network Integration
The dimmer can be included in a Z-Wave network with certified devices from other manufacturers. Once powered, inclusion can be activated by placing the controller into inclusion mode and pressing the dimmer’s action button three times.
As an always-powered Z-Wave device, the dimmer can route compatible Z-Wave communications and help extend the reliability of the mesh network. Association Group 1 Lifeline supports up to five nodes for status and notification reporting.
Safety Protection
The dimmer includes internal temperature monitoring. If its internal temperature rises above 90°C, it can issue an emergency shutoff notification through the Z-Wave Lifeline Association group.
