    Comprehensive, Flexible, Home Automation Solution

    After using Google Home, Apple Home and a range of device manufacturer’s solution, I have settled on Home Assistant to control and monitor our home. The Home Assistant Green Smart Hub provided all the hardware capability and communication software required. The Home Assistant web site app and iPad app served as the user interface.
    As you would expect, the comprehensive functionality requires some study and a journey up a learning curve in order to understand and utilise Home Assistant. However, the effort so far has been well rewarded.

    Centralising Home Automation

    I bought one of these on special, purely are as a backup unit. Over time, I've built my home automation up to a level that I would have trouble living without. I currently use a Home Assistant Yellow hub as my primary, and this unit I'll keep on the shelf ready to restore a backup to if needed. Home Assistant is an incredible base that can unify1000's of brands under the one app. There's not a better platform on the market.

    Home Assistant Green - not bullet proof

    I purchased this with the view that it's a rock solid product and would be a hassle free match for the Home Assistant application. Two days into setting everything up certain sensors stopped working properly and a factory reset is suggested to be the way to fix it. The factory reset process does not work as described and now the product is rendered useless. It seems for some time many online users are experiencing the same factory reset issue however there doesn’t seem to be any solid solution for recovery. I do not recommend this product.
