    EVE MotionBlinds Thread Motor

    I purchased two of these units from OZ Smart Things with a little trepidation as they are adevice that needs to work with my particular blinds purchased by others. Whilst the website gives all the details, one of the blinds is 3 metres long and full room height and I was not certain that the motor would lift the blind. However after fitting the motor which was very simple it lifted the blind without a problem.
    I have integrated them with my Apple home automation system and now they automattically raise and lower at sunrise and sunset.
    The blinds also provide a simple pull 'cord' to raise and lower the blinds manually at other times. A small problem has occurred however when my significant other tried to raise the blind manually and thinking that it was like the endless chain to raise the blind pulled harder than necessary on the cord and it has parted from the internal switch. As a result I will need to take the blind down and ascertain if I can simply hook the cord back or whether something has been broken.
    Overall I am very happy with my purchase and thoroughly recommend them to everyone.

    Top quality blind motor kit

    Highly recommend after trialing some cheaper blind motors. Kit and instructions are comprehensive and contain all necessary components to retro fit into my existing blinds.
    Big warning however! - do not upgrade to Matter if not required.

    Great motors

    Once I converted my blinds to 38 mm tubing and could fit the motors, everything has worked brilliantly. Just need to get a sensor so they open and close with the sun. All will be well then.
