Powered by the modern Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 microcontroller, ConBee III supports Zigbee 3.0 and Zigbee Green Power devices with its standard firmware. Alternative OpenThread Border Router firmware is also available for supported Thread applications.

ConBee III ships with Zigbee firmware. OpenThread Border Router functionality uses an alternative firmware application and may require additional setup. Zigbee and Thread functionality, supported features and platform compatibility depend on the installed firmware and host software.
