Fibaro are no longer supporting Vbell

 Fibaro Update

Last year was a big year for Fibaro with new products released and quite a few changes happening at the Head Office Level.

To bring you all up to speed, Fibaro was sold to a company named Nice in July 2018. More can be read about the takeover here: https://www.niceforyou.com/en/nice-acquires-fibaro-one-major-players-worldwide-smart-home-consolidating-its-global-leadership

Since then, Fibaro has elected to make some changes to their product offering.

Fibaro released their Intercom, they changed the compatibility of their controllers to only work with their own product, this means that Fibaro controllers will no longer work with any third-party intercom systems, such as VBell.

Fibaro has a massive list of Compatible devices, To see what's in the list check out our post Here

Hi Author,

A number of requests have come through to me clarifying the comment you have made above

This statement is factually inaccurate. Fibaro HC2 still supports the Video and Access control functions of Mobotix, 2N and IP Bell intercoms as it always has. Further to this, your title also inaccurately suggests that Vbell was once “officially supported” and this has been taken away.

I suggest that this post be adjusted in order to accurately reflect the situation, particularly when positioning a brand in the way you have
