The lights have a decent build quality and were incredibly easy to connect to my smart home server. Literally plugged them in and had them connected within 1 minute. Zigbee picked up all the information correctly first time and I had to make no alterations, it just worked, unlike cheaper zigbee lights I have tried off Amazon and Aliexpress.
I would like to preface the rest of this review by saying, there is nothing particularly bad about these lights. They are decent quality, super easy to connect and just work. But if you are looking at using these I would recommend using only these downlights. The lack of color accuracy and brightness in comparison to other lights makes for some really jarring transitions from room to room. I have moved these lights away from my main living area and find they work rather well in my bathroom, where the lack of a 'Warm White' isn't such a big deal. I have had to install 2 of these in the bathroom instead of the 1 I had previously though.
Onto the rest of the review 90% of you won't care about.
Where these fall short is output, beam angle and color accuracy. When compared with the Nanoleaf or Phllips downlights I have installed elsewhere in the house.
These downlights have a very poor beam angle, so when tested in a room using normal downlight spacing's I found that there were more dark spots then other downlights, with real 'hotspots' right under the lights. You should expect to install these with tighter spacings then standard downlights. A bedroom I could get away with 3 lights in will need 4/5.
In testing I also found that they struggled to meet their advertised lumen output, this was incredibly obvious when installed in a room adjacent to one with other downlights in. I had to adjust the brightness of the downlights down in adjacent rooms to have the same "feel" of brightness as these, as walking between rooms was very jarring. I ended up wth these set to 100%, Nanoleaf at 80% brightness and Phillips at 70% to get the same feel. Tuning the brightness for my adaptive lighting I have these set to 50-100%, Nanoleaf and Phillipsat 30-85%. Sleep brightness for these at 40%, Nanoleaf and Phillips at 20%. Which is rather concerning as the phillips and nanoleaf advertise lower max brightnesses.
As for the color accuracy, some of the worst I have seen for CCW, these downlights simply do not reach color temps below 4000K, so do not expect to get a 'Warm White' light from them. They also struggle to reach the advertised 6500K maximum as well, maxing out at about 5500K so impossible to reach a 'Daylight'. I have had to adjust the adaptive lighting for the adjacent Nanoleaf and Philips globes from 2700-5000K to 3500-4500K to get the same color profile, and even then it does not match correctly. For the RGB, very mixed performance, some of the best Blue's I have seen. Everything from an Aqua through to Pink (on an RGB wheel) is beautiful. Where it starts to fall short is in the Greens and Reds. Green's just look very washed out so are overpowered by the blues, giving very little color definition between aqua-green. The Red's are even worse resulting in a complete lack of a proper yellow, the light stransition from a lime green to almost orange instantly. And with the red being so washed out the Blue over powers it almost immediately resulting in a jarring transition from red to pink with little 'smoothing' between that change.

We’re sorry, however, that their brightness, beam coverage, white temperature range, and RGB colour reproduction did not meet your expectations—particularly when used alongside Nanoleaf and Philips lighting. The downlights are specified at 950 lumens with a 100° beam angle, but we appreciate that perceived brightness and colour consistency can vary between manufacturers and installations. have quite a few of these lights now. they work really well. local zigbee control is much better than wifi lights. lights have great colour and temp and can be very bright.
The lights themselves are OK - they don't get super dim, and their colour accuracy isn't great, but they get the job done. If you're expecting to use these as the backbone of your network - don't. I have 6 in one room, all less than 2 meters apart, and they are quite unresponsive. Adding additional router devices that weren't these lights fixed the issue.
I'm hoping there's a pending firmware update that will address this, but I can't update them via Home Assistant to confirm.
I have had 6 of these for about 4 months, The colour and brightness is good, they look nice, dimming is good. I just have two big frustrations with them. I have mine setup with motion sensors, and remote manual switches all through Zigbee, these fade in and fade out when motion is detected in the room or the switch or Home assistant is used to turn them on. The problem is that they seem to go to sleep, so if they haven't been used in a while, they ignore the command I give them from Home Assistant and just go back to their previous state, which is usually off. So when they are triggered, they start turning on, then turn off. To try to fix this, I setup a second delayed command to make sure they actually come on. Now my house feels like a rave when I walk in with the lights flashing on and off then back on again. Super annoying when you want to try carry a sleeping baby to bed from the car without waking them.
Secondly, they can't handle being told to turn back on while they are turning off. If my motion sensor has timed out and my fade out gets interrupted by the motion sensor, they get sent the command to turn back on but because they are in the process of turning off they just turn off and Home Assistant thinks they are on.
The combination of both of these things means that sometimes the lights will turn off from the motion sensor and when I turn them back on remotely they just flash on and turn back off, repeatedly.
This is all a shame, because they are pretty great otherwise but my experience with them has been pretty frustrating, especially when my Philips hue bulbs are running on the same logic seamlessly, also directly through Zigbee.
